hard top !

ive just bought a sonic blue 54 plate TF,theres a guy on e-bay,just a few miles from me selling a sonic blue hard top from a 2006 car,my question is will a 2006 hard top fit a 54 plate,i am not aware of any design changes between those year cars,but will save wasted time if i know for sure cheers !
