2015 - investment time on a CDT

Hi,

I was looking for some opinions about what might be a good idea regarding keeping my trusty CDT 2003 (I've had it 8 years) going.

I think money put into this car would be better spent than buying something that will probably be a far lower quality car all round, and this is kind of my once in a life time dream car to be quite honest!

I don't want to get rid of it, and I'd sooner put a little money in now to fix some niggles, as for the most part is reliable. It has 150,000 miles on it, I've had it mostly serviced every year (last year was a bad year for me financially and it is still outstanding though) and I have one intermittent starting issue, but I have started a separate thread for that.

This is the list of minor issues I've have:

1) driver door will not unlock using central locking - requires use of key

2) rear passenger door will not unlock using central locking - needs to be opened 3) via the inside

4) boot leaking

As i'm not the most handy person, could anyone give me suggestions what might be involved in these issues and what this might cost to resolve?

one last thing - after 8 years, and not even knowing where a MAF sensor is, is this something i should worry about, and should I consider the xpart remapping to get some extra power out of it as I'm sure it coudl benefit now it is in it's dotage! If so where is the best place to get this done in the SE (near Dartford Tunnel area)
