anti rattle shims help

Hi All i am having a hell of a job trying to find some anti ratttle shims that fit on the brake pads on an mgf , i rang up Brown & Gammon an MG dealer who said there not stainless steel , yet the mechanic who has done jobs for me says they are anyone got any info , pictures ? or links to where i can get some ..
