elm to phone

i ve been using the elm 327 bluetooth adaptor and my tablet and laptop to look at data on the L series today thought i would use my phone (galaxy s5570) and found it did not detect it any one else had this problem i have been using torque app for tablet and pcmscan for laptop the phone pairs ok with both tablet and laptop confused
