HG failure

Hi all

First of all a happy new year to everyone.

I'm 99% certain the head gasket has gone on my MGF VVC 97.

So can anyone recommend a good garage in Herts, I'm in Watford. What sort of costs am I looking at. i changed the rad last year, everthing okay for a few months, then the large hose between the engine and underfloor pipes developed a split, changed that and all seemed fine. Today on checking the oil and water definitely mayo on the bottom and up the dip stick and small drop in water level. I'm cheesed off as I was so careful bleeding everything and it's been okay for the couple of months. Thanks guys for any advise .
