K series 1.4 to 1.8 conversion

I am looking to convert a 1.4 to a 1.8 what do I need ? A 1.8 crank pistons and liners ? Is this a job that needs the engine out ?

Once done can the 1.4 ecu be remapped ?

I have already done a brake uprate
