Noob from The Black Country
Hi fellas,
Bought our first Rover today, a 2001 25, 1.4cc...2 owners, first owner was Birmingham based Rover dealer and second owner has had it since 2003. Mileage 110k
Cost was very reasonable, £142...
The last owner passed away unexpectedly a few months ago, RIP DW. Moral of the story is to check your blood pressure regularly guys, don't be a typical bloke and never set foot in a GPs surgery...
Anyway, has a basic spec, so looking to upgrade to half leather seats and fancy some Streetwise alloys - is that all plug and play?
Needs two new front wings - not sure of the colour, is there a website where I can check on spec and colour etc by putting in the VIN? I've come from the BMW 5 Series world where there are websites that enable you to do this.
Have bought all parts to do a service, Halfords doing 4 litres of 5w 40 for £12 so bought two of those and oil/air/pollen/fuel filters and x4 Bosch plugs from Car Parts 4 Less for the very nice sum of £27.15..so a full service for £51.15 and I'll have a bit of oil left over for when I come to service the 523i.
Sorry for the crap pic, will take a few more in the daylight!
Thanks in advance chaps.
Chris
