rear seats wont fold and boot wont open

I have a rover 25 2005 5 door.



the central locking beeps the horn once when we lock it which we figured out was the boot wasnt shut properly.



problem is that we cannot open the boot to close it properly and we cannot get the rear seats to fold down.



To fix the seats we need to get in from the boot (i think) and to fix the boot we need to get in from the seats......see my dilemma?



anyone know how to fix please?
