SRS light on 96 Rover 416

I have a 98 rover 416 that has just failed its mot due to the srs light on the dashboard being on.

There is nothing wrong with the car at all apart from this and so it failed the mot.

I have taken it to a garage that connected something to test where the fault was, if there was one that is, but it would not work.

Does anyone know of any rover specialist garages around brighton, eastbourne, hastings at all? Or have any suggestions on how i can solve to problem my self?
