Wild ride
My 2001 MGF is quite... old.
I think that for a convertible 13+ years old is quite in good shape.
Aside a lot of works that seems to be needed I have a general question:
how should be the ride on a MGF?
My MGF feels quite unruly and wild, I'll try to explain:
First I have to put a lot of effort on driving it on speed over 50.
It strongly steer on left (even with power steering resetted).
Over 70 it seems just to bubbling over something.
I know the front splitter improvements, but just to understand how bad it is without it.
Braking distance ... I feel it will never stop in time in an emergency.
I have planned to change tyres, make a good alignment and, perhaps, do a second power steering reset because I'm not convinced about the quality of the first one done (this is another story...).
I'll change braking pads and disks for sure.
I feel the above is not the all story. What else can affect stability?
