New Streetwise Owner
Hello all,
On Saturday I bought myself a nice 54 plate Streetwise Olympic as a replacement commuting hack for my decrepit Yaris which failed it's MOT in spectacular fashion (Still I only paid £400, ran it for 6 months and sold it for £200 so not complaining!)
Loving the SW so far (although not done many miles yet), feels like a very big step up from the Yaris, only has 64k miles on it with history to back it up and that blue looks amazing when polished up!
There are a few little things I need to sort out such as the heater resistor pack (on order) and the clock has many dead cells. Other than that I'll give it a service and run it until the MOT runs out next Feb. By that time it will have more than paid for itself when compared with the bus so if all is still good with it I may be tempted to start doing some mods, lowering being high on the list.
It also has the 17" Addendum alloys which although they look great tramline like a...well a tram, on these rubbish road surfaces we have so may be tempted to swap for 16s when the time comes for new tyres.
