Upgrade or Replace?

Hi all, looking for a bit of advice. I'm running a cheap old PC for basic tasks but it's really starting to frustrate me with its poor performance.



Specs:

emachines Intel Core i3 CPU 550 @ 3.2Ghz, 2GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics running Windows 7.



Is it worth upgrading (and if so, how?) or am I better off just buying a new one?
