Changing heater fan on Rover Streetwise

Fuse 17 is OK, but connecting slate/black cable at heater fan resistor block to earth does not cause the heater fan to turn. I conclude heater fan motor is dead. I wish to change it. with glovebox and resistor unit removed I can see the motor, but do not see how to change it. Can anyone help?
