help fitting door speakers

Hi all



I am in the process of fitting a new interior to my mg tf and whilst the door cards are off I thought I may as well upgrade the speakers to new ones.



I bought a set of component speakers that come with a splitter box with one input and two outputs, an output for both tweeter and main speaker.



On removing the door card, I already have two speaker inputs, one for the main and one for the tweeter, so do I not need to use the splitter, is one already fitted in the car wiring for each door?
