Air/Pollen Filters

In a nut shell:

Air filter filters air from any dust or particles before coming into engine for mixing with fuel. Mixture of fuel with dusty air will not produce such combustion which is needed and will clog engine cilinders making them incapable of producing any power in the engine. Thus engine will stop.

Pollen filter filters pollen particles and other particles like engine combustion smell from air coming into cars passengers cabin shielding passengers from mentioning and in such way providing more pleasant stay in a car.
