I hear from comments here that SAIC under-invest in the UK and may not be around indefinitely. It's not the impression I get. I think Asian business practice is different to Europe and pulling out of the UK would be an embarrassment. SAIC are a wealthy company and the UK assembly and sales operation is a tiny part of that. They can afford to stay, so why would they leave?

I just wrote a piece on SAIC in the UK. I would appreciate some expert critiquing on the article:
