New to it all!

Firstly the site is brilliant and I've found it very helpful as some one who knows just a little about cars. Bought the MGTF 2004 1.6 last summer and hope to get on the road, if it passes s the MOT, next week. If I could get some help with the undernoted questions I'd appreciate it.
1. I'm replacing the exhaust back box, bolts x 3 are rusted and basically knackered, what size or type do I get? If anyone can help, thank you.
2. Putting on new front brake callipers each side, anything I should be aware of or careful about.
