How often do you get the emergency alarm on your radio when passing through a tunnel? Does the Highway Code inform drivers of what they are supposed to do when they hear these alarms?

A fire alarm test (or malfunction) happens to me when entering some tunnels: Radio music is replaced with an alarm tone alongside the displayed text "ALARM EMERGENCY", and it stops when I exit the tunnel.

I searched for UK tunnel safety features but this mentions only a voice break-in to deliver instructions rather than a pointless alarm tone: Does a tone mean to stop driving, or don't stop driving?
