VIN & HG: which one?

VIN & HG: which one?

My Rover 25 has the following VIN: SARRFHNAM2D633219

So I assume that it was built at Longbridge plant in 2002.
The car was ordered in France near Paris on the 24 March 2002 and sold on the 2 April.

But I'm unable:

1. to know precisely when the car was built,

2. to be sure which head gasket was fitted: the bad one subject to HGF or the better one fitted afterwards.

I would appreciate very much that some mates owning a Rover 25 2002 be kind to tell me what is their number (VIN last 6 digits) and which month their car was built.

I was told the better HG was fitted from 2002 onwards: is that true?
