Rover 75 1.8T Brakes

My 75 went in for a MOT this week and never returned. Apparently during the brake check one of the copper pipes burst. Now un driveable the garage says its going to cost £400 to £500 to repair. Apparently the tanks got to come out and they'll have to replace both brake lines. I don't thin they really want to do it to be honest.Bit disappointed is an understatement.

Can anyone point me in the direction of someone who might be able to sort this cheaper or if not I have a black Rover 75 1.8T connoisseur up for grabs. brand new front exhaust (inc cat) replacement engine only 40k old.

Don't want to see my baby scrapped !!
