R25 Wiper linkage grease

Anyone know what kind of grease is used in the R25 wiper linkage ball joints as it is a very stiff grease, I found out the hard way years ago with linkage not to use a soft grease as the arms will just fall aprt on every use, the only thing I can find is a red and tacky grease?

And can you get those little rubber skirts that fit around the ball of the joint?
