How'do ZT and ZTT'ers

I let my TF go a while back and now I'm back on .org, hopefully for you all I wont be as prolific as i used to be on the TF section.

I have just bought myself a ZT-T He is not one of your pedigree set but a more Humble diesel.

Anyway Hansome Bob came home yesterday and was immediately treated to a 2.5 hour car spa indulgence session.

Main reason I have posted is to say Hi!

But also to cadge some bits maybe and definately to trawl for some knowledge.

Not sure what to expect from this Bimmer engine, but i had thought it would have a bit more poke.
So I am going to start investigating and servicing as I go.
!st port of call is going to be EGR and then O rings then Maf.
Going to pop a spare K&N filter on if it will fit??? its a cone jobby and from the limited peek I have had under the lid I suspect it may not fit.

So any tips and anyone near me who is an expert and could poss give me a few pointers/ a bit of help?
I am pretty good at electronics/electrical so would be happy to swap skills/favours.
