High pitched tone.
Hi Guys,
I was checking levels and things under the bonnet of my 1.8 45 Auto and when I switched off the engine there was a very quiet, very high pitched whistle.
As far as I can tell, as I have a problem with one ear, it appeared to be coming from somewhere around the left hand end of the inlet manifold area, looking from the radiator. After about 3 or 4 minutes I heard what sounded like a relay click and the noise stopped.

I don't think it is a problem, I just wondered what it is.
