Hi,
Installed my digital box today. A few questions though.

1) The reception is very poor. The box is of course a 12V module and I have the option of power on/off for the antenna. Power doesn't seem to do anything. On Amazon / Ebay you can but load of different antennas but I need help in choosing the one that work best. Any advice please?

2) So far I've connected it to the battery and left the power off tonight. I really need it to come on when the ignition key is turned one notch (same time as the head unit comes on). How have other people done this. Is the neg- connected straight to the car body? Here should I connect the live?

3) The digibox has a remote controller and there is an extended lead for the IR receiver. This need to go from the boot to inside the car near the dash ideally. Where is the best route for this / easiest non intrusive way please?
