MGF Trophy Hardtop

The roof on my Trophy is getting a bit tatty and the zip no longer works so I was thinking about switching to a hardtop. I've got a couple of questions though before I go ahead with it.

1. Can the hard roof be removed quite easily? So if it's a nice day and it's not going to rain can I take it off and just drive around with no roof whatsoever?

2. It's a Y reg (2001), is it a TF roof that I want?
