ROVER Coupe 218 VVC. worth the hassle?

Hi,
the 420 I was looking at and started a thread about was sold yesterday... so, anyway, I've started looking at the 200 series and I like them too.

I've been looking around and found a very nice looking
ROVER Coupe 218 VVC.

A quick look on wikioedia reveals that these are K series engines.

Should I just avoid these altogether. I'm not a DIY person and am happy to get stuff sorted by a mechanic, but don't want to waste time and money...

This one is from 1997 and has 130,000kms, and lovely interior and attractive in blue....
