Petrol zr to diesel

Hi folks

Hope you guys can help. I have a immaculate streetwise td with low mileage engine and box in it. Found out at the mot it had been badly damaged so wife refuses to use it, been looking for a mg zr td with high mileage or Cambelt gone so can transplant good engine but can't seem to find any.

So if I bought a petrol mg zr of which there seems to be loads besides the usual stuff under the bonnet how hard would it be to turn this into a diesel.

I'm thinking along the lines of wiring loom fuel lines etc a trained mechanic will do all this for me
