blown water hose

hi folks, just a quick question.

The water hose blew today on my mg f today and after it was overheating a few times managed to get it back home in limp mode. It ran into the red a few times and was wondering would this have killed my engine entirely?

Also don't know where is the best place to get a replacement hose?

The hose is at the top end of the engine, very weird shape which branches off twice and seems to run into somewhere behind the passenger seat. The plastic insert had broke off inside. Any help would be greatly appreciated guys, many thx in advance.:crying:
