Getting Started with Remapping

Hi guys



As the title suggests I want to have a crack at remapping my diesel, or at least having a look at downloading the existing map to try and get my head around it all.



I'm knowledgable with computers, electronics and programming, and I'm willing to try it on my own car, probably with a spare ECU. I'm not looking to make money really, just have a play.



I'm not asking for any advice on remaps themselves as I know it's a highly skilled job, but what cables/software do I need?



It's a 2004 Rover 45td, can read everything through my bluetooth ELM327 reader with Torque pro.
