Different size of Brake Master Cylinder

Hi all,



Been reading a book on brake systems for the last few days and the section on Master Cylinders has got me thinking.



A lot has, and will be written on these pages about our standard and upgraded brakes but I don't recall anyone changing out the Master Cylinder.



Is there any advantage to be gained in installing a slightly larger bore unit?



Perhaps another MG Rover one would be an easy swap.



I don't really have anything more to add, just got me wondering.
