I am in trouble...

The Mgtf was sounding a bit noisy and ,on inspection,I found a split flexy section .





the back box was looking a bit ropey and the flanges on the cat were totally corroded ...So the decision was to change the whole lot

I got the down pipe and cat from a place recommended on here for a very reasonable price ,in stainless ,from Autobits

I finished it off with a cheap back-box off e-bay from here ...http://ift.tt/1p4h3wB



Threw them on ,I had to cut out the second lambda sensor to get it out

the auto bits stuff is excellent quality ,fitted perfectly

the back box was ok but needed massaged to make it fit ,the exit pipes were at a different angle !





However this is not the problem



the exhaust system sounds amazing now ,with a delicious rasp above 4 k ,it sounds as good as a 4 pot could

Why is this a problem ? swmbo does not believe me when I say it was a standard system ,she thinks I have splurged out on a sports system and has said its too noisy ....oops

Actually its not bad unless it goes over 4 k



Now how could this happen ? I am guessing that they have forgotten to pack the back box

But I love it :lol:
