MGF Body Strengh

Ive recently been dismantling my F VVC parts car,and I have to say how impressed I am with the design of the body no wonder the TF did so well in crash tests,I need to cut the shell up to get it on my trailer to get it to the scrappy as its not practical to get it uplifted.



The front, forward of the windscreen cut off without to much problem, but the back end is much more of a problem,under the sills are heavy box sections ,the same behind the rear wings, very strong,much better than most modern euroboxes,with all that built in stiffening Its no surprise why they are a heavy car.



My last MG was a Midget glad I was never in an accident in it!!!
