MGF Front Brake Shims
Hi all,
I had a braking issue so I took my brakes apart today to have a look. I found drivers side pads to be stuck in place (had to use a hammer to remove one of them) and now my wheels spin better too. Will see if it is fixed with a drive tomorrow.
However, I was SURE I had shims in place (top and bottom on both sides) but now they are not there. As the standard shims are made of materials that will not rust and protect the straight surface of my callipers, I'm sure this issue would have been avoided, and may even happen again once the grease I added gunks up or washes away.
So finally if I may ask, where might I purchase such shims? I don't need new pads or anything, just the shims...
Much obliged for any help. Please see image attached, item AA top and bottom:
