windscreen cover problem

hello everyone yesterday my windscreen was hit by some loose road chippings from another car. a little chip has turned into a big crack about 12- 13 inches long. so this morning i telephoned my insurance company. they sorted it out for someone to come and do it on friday. the problem is they wanted 75.00 to do it. but on my policy it says i only pay 50.00. i told the lady this and she said she would have to get in touch with someone else. any way they have not long phoned me and said it will cost me 75.00. i told her i was not happy about it at all. how can this be if it says in black and white i only pay 50.00. many thanks fosky.
