Bluetooth OBD2 Reader and Engine Management Light

Quick question here, I was wondering if I was to blank off my EGR on my new ZR I hear that on some newer cars the Engine Management Light comes on but when this was done on my Rover 25 a '53 plate the light didn't come on but I read on here the light can be displayed on some newer models (Possibly my '54 plate ZR MK2)



Can an Bluetooth OBD2 Reader be used to not only display the fault codes but can it be used to clear the EML or do i need proper diagnostic equipment to do this? I'm looking to get a Reader as i want to check my Coolant Temp as i think it's on the high side and was hoping it may also show the current boost PSI on the turbo.



Anyone have any recommendations on a good Bluetooth OBD2 reader to buy and possibly a link to one online.
