Temp gauge rising at 2000 rpm - dropping after

Hi guys, I've had this problem for a couple of months now where the temperature gauge rises at 2000 rpm and drops back down to normal when the revs are higher.

So far, I've changed the radiator and thermostat and have flushed the system 2/3 times.It sounds like there's a blockage somewhere in the engine but I don't know the best way to flush that out.



Or is there something obvious that I'm missing?



Any advice is appreciated.
