Cold start issues

Hi all,



had cold start issues for ages now. it's never bothered me..but it's getting colder and therefore takes even longer to start! i've replaced the glow plugs and the glow plug relay, priming bulb and it still takes a while to start..maybe 10 turns of the engine. then the classic white smoke till it clears up.



i read somewhere to put the interior light on and when you pre heat the glow plugs the light should dim if they're getting current. i'll check with my probe if they're getting any power. but what else could it be?
