Can't open driver door from inside, but can from outside...

Hi Guys,



Tried to get out of my car earlier and the internal handle stopped opening the door... I had to shoot down the window & open it from outside (bit embarrassing when trying to get petrol lol).



Anyway, when I got home I ripped the door car off and had a look, everything seems to be connected.

I can open it from the inside by pulling the handle and giving the metal wire connecting the handle to the lock mech a tug (it's a minimumal tug). It got a little too dark to see anything, so I'll sort it on my lunch break tommorrow.



Anyone had this issue before and can tell me how they did it? I'm considering bending the wire slightly so it finishes the job when I pull the handle.



Also, if anyone has a picture of how this wire should look when connected, would be much appreciated (I found a white clip, similar to the one guiding the wire when I took the door card off).
