Mgf loud/noisy engine ticking over :/

Hiya

Just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this



I have a 2001 mgf vvc it was stood unused for around 8month,

Basically the engine ticking over, just sounds loud/noisy to me it gets louder an faster the higher the RPM both when in gear driving and in neutral stood still

Anyone have any experience on what the cause an or solution would be
