Unusual MGF Hardtop

Hoping someone can help me here.

The first photo below is from 1998 and shows an MGF Cheetah as marketed by SP Garage back in the day.

Although not particularly clear in the photo this hardtop has a built-in rear spoiler and two prominently raised "strakes" (much larger than the later Heritage moulding) going from the rear of the hardtop forwards (see pics 2 & 3 below).

Would any of our MGF/TF experts be able to tell me how many of these tops were made and escaped to the wider world beyond motor shows?
