Hello ive just been given a 2005 rover 45 1.4 from my grandad its done 40k from new .

Anyway since standing for about 6months i have put a new battery on car but always struggle to get it to start its deactivating the immobiliser thats stopping it start.

Its got the 3 button key fob which isnt doing a thing ive tried programming it bu turning key in door to the right numbers etc but still no joy if i sit with ignition on maybe a few min of pressing unlock it will deactivate and start ?
I have also changed key in fob and have tried spare fob and kwy its the same.

Also if i lock the car with key and open with key hazzards flash but ive got no sound from alarm.

Any ideas how to fix or bypass immobiliser all together? Thanks
