Lack of mg/rovers on the roads this year
Lack of mg/rovers on the roads this year
Got back this afternoon after a week away with the wife and our two dogs up in Blackpool so I thought I would have a nose on here as I didn't bother while away as we had better things to do lol.
Had a faultless run up and down as usual and the ZS used the normal half a tank each way as it does every year when we visit our friends, it's 250 miles from our house to Blackpool so it's 500 miles on a tank. Not sure if that's good, bad or normal to be honest but I'm happy enough.
Weather was kind to us all week and on both runs so can't grumble but what I did notice this year was a deffinate drop in the number of mg/rover cars on the road. I stopped in Wolverhampton on way up to see my daughter and was shocked by the lack of them on the road compared to last year. Same story on the motorways and in Blackpool. Couple of 75s, one ZS mk1 and two ZR,s couple of 45,in Blackpool and that's was it.
Mine got lots of attention both in Wolverhampton and Blackpool, I wish I took some pics of the ZS on the prom in the day and night now as conditions were great.
Ah well always next year I suppose.
