diesel feeling sluggish
hello all. I have a 2002 rover 75 diesel and recently the pipe poppet out of the top of the intercooler because the brackets were broken and I could not repair it until about 40 miles later, which didn't feel like the engine liked that. I have now assembled it all again with polyurethane glue and an o-ring so that should be air tight. but the trouble is that the car is not smoking a bit when I put my foot down and it reaches 3000rpm and it feels sluggish, so I wonder if the turbo might have been damaged by the drive with the intercooler pipe disconnected. what do you think?
