MG F/TF Right channel faint.Low on power

In the VVC (Mk2) it seems that the front speakers, door and tweeter, produce little sound as if not power is getting to them. The T-Bar speaker on the right side works fine.



Found this out this morning when fitting a SOY DSX-S-100 unit. It seems the original MG CD43 was adjusted to almost maximum Right balance !!! Doh!



Have had the door card off but cannot see any obvious damage or problem and the plugs seem undamaged in the loom so any suggestions as to what is wrong would be appreciated.
