Tyres for 11 spoke alloys

Hi, got a set of refurbed wheels off Ebay.

Took to my local tyre fitter, fitted me

Uniroyal 195/45 R16 on the front

Uniroyal 205/45 R16 on the rear.

Problem is on the front 195 the wheel is proud of the tyre and the rear 205 if just about flush. Obviously if I come close to the kerb I'm screwed. Luckily he was a decent chap and took the tyres off and refunded my money.



Could any of please recommend a tyre that has a good rim protector to protect my new rims from the nasty kerb.
