your opinion on a Metro 1.3 Mayfair

hello!

I have been ofered a 1.3 Metro Mayfair version (front door electric Windows, cloth seats).

I remember the car from the days my family sold them and as a former Rover 100 owner as my first car I would love to get one again from the family or Metro/100.

the engine has made about 80.000 miles and has passed the MOT.



2 problems:



a) rust in the outside panels (but the owner provide me with some spare panels to remove the rusted ones)



b)and more wooried about, some problems with the hidragas (not leaks I am informed but)



I will drive the car in few days and I will know more about, but I wished to get your opinión about the purchase of a car just supossed to bring children to a nearby school and very few things more.

The Price is almost negligible, as nothing as cheap for a Mot passed car in second hand Spain.
