Battery Solar Charger Wiring

Hi all,

I have a mg zs 120 55 reg.

My car is a left hand drive which spends most of its life dormant in Spain.I am thinking of leaving it at the airport in Spain with a Solar charger attached to keep the battery topped up and save on Taxi fares to and from the house.The charger plugs into the Cigar lighter.

The problem I have is that the cigar lighter is not permanent live.

My questions are has anyone else had any dealings with these chargers and are they any good?

Also how would I go about wiring up the cigar lighter to permanent live.
