Im sure I should get more MPG than this?

I have a stock 2.0iDt 25 Commerce van, it pulls very well, it has no mods to engine or injectors.



I get 43.5 to 45.00 mpg everytime. no-matter if i am gentle or give it some welly.... Can this be right? I seem to remember getting 60mpg from a 205 Pug and caning the arse of it, a 306TD pug gave me 55-60 and i used to hammer that.I also had a Xantia TD that gave me over 50mpg...sureley the mpg figures i am getting are bad to **** poor? or am i being an optimist?



Anyone got any clues?



what do other TD users get mpg wise?
