Words from the wise please

To recap - I've been trying to pass the MoT emissions since September, and I'm getting a bit desperate, as it's only two months to the Silvestone track day.

First of all I got a new (cheapish) cat - no improvment,

I've replaced

lambda sensor, temperature sensor, spark plugs, cleaned the air filter, sealed the exhaust as best as possible - no improvement.

To try and check the replacement cat, I got a set of numbers using a non-cat (innards removed) to get hese -

CO .821%-.773%

HC 59 - 140

lambda 1.055-1.366

for the first and second fast idle tests

and CO .711% natural idle

I've just repeated the test with the new cat back on and the numbers aren't any better - couldn't get a print-out as the printer was on the blink, but CO was around .78% and lambda 1.048

So, the question. What do I do next? Yet another cat? There's this for £60-odd, and a new cat has done the trick in the past.

Or for no less than £108 I've been recommended to get it Terracleaned - website here - with no guarantee that it will work. I have heard reasonably creditable reports that it's beneficial.

Do I go for the cat first, or the Terraclean?

Or could it be something else??

Heeeeeelp!!
