Hi all,

Would like your thoughts on my situation please.

Rover 400 1998, 159000 miles on the clock. MOT due in a month. Here's the problems...one badly rusted wheel arch which will fail on account of being sharp and unsafe.

Also required for MOT is an anti roll bar. Other problems include a bust drivers door handle and a sticky idle throttle valve. About £100 to get it thru MOT inlcusive of MOT. Though I'll need to do some handy work with cataloy and sand paper to get the wheel arch in order.

What do you think...is it worth the money now to fix or should I call it a day and get something newer?
